Laminam slabs are cleaned extremely easily. For daily cleaning of Laminam slabs, use warm water and mild detergents (e.g. soap or mild detergents), using a cloth or soft sponge. Rinse with plenty of water then dry the surface with a soft cloth or paper towel. To remove stains or particularly resistant residues from the Laminam surface, we recommend preliminary cleaning with warm water and a mild detergent. If this should not be sufficient, use gradually stronger cleaning techniques, using specific products depending on the stain to be treated, such as:
•Non-abrasive detergents with neutral pH
•Slightly abrasive detergents
•Acidic detergents (e.g. limescale remover) or basic detergents (e.g. bleach)
•Solvent-based detergents (e.g. acetone)

To avoid the formation of opaque patinas it is advised not to use products containing waxes. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive sponges. Laminam is a material with a very low porosity, so it does not absorb water or any residual dirt. Do I need to apply a sealer to Laminam? There is no need to apply a sealant because the material is tested according to the UNI EN 10545-3 standard which classifies it as a non-absorbent material that has a 0.5% porosity.

How should I remove stubborn
or dried spills?

Laminam is a material with a very low porosity, so it does not absorb water or any residual dirt.

Do I need to apply a sealer to Laminam?

There is no need to apply a sealant because the material has a porosity <0.5% tested according to the UNI EN 10545-3 standard which classifies it as non-absorbent material.

Can I cut on my Laminam
countertop?

Laminam has a very high scratch resistance with a hardness between 5 and 7. Cutting directly on the surface will not harm it as long as if you do not use ceramic knives as they could mark the top with the same hardness. For polished surfaces, on the other hand, it is not advisable to cut on the surface, a cutting board must be used to avoid damaging the surface.
